About Our Products
What paper do you use?
We use 100 gsm FSC-certified woodfree paper in natural white. It has just enough tooth for a smooth, controlled glide, so writing feels satisfying without snagging your pen.
Compact size: B6 (approx. 5 x 7 in), small enough to slip into a bag and large enough to plan, journal, or sketch comfortably.
NOTE: FSC certification means the paper comes from responsibly managed forests.
What writing tools can I use on Papelle inserts?
Best for: rollerball, graphite, gel pens, colored pencils, highlighters
Pen-friendly: Handles fountain pen inks* for everyday writing with no bleed.
Painting: Watercolor, acrylics, and gouache are best used with our Maker Insert as it's designed to handle these media.
*Disclaimer: Although our paper works with most standard inks, it is highly advisable to have a test page for your writing tools.
What is a discbound system?
Discbounds use mushroom-shaped discs instead of tings or spirals as its spine.
Pages can be added, removed, and rearranged anytime, and the notebook folds flat or back on itself.
How do I add or remove pages?
To remove a page: Hold the page at the top of the edge, then gently pull it upward and towards you until the paper slides off the disc.
To add a page: Line up the punched section with the disc, then press the page to slide it down into place. Work for a few pages at a time.
Do you offer custom or bulk orders?
Yes! We would love to help you with gifts, events, and wedding favors. Please send us an email with your quantity, timeline, and ideas.
Lead time for a custom project is at least 3 months and is subject for confirmation.
Shipping
How long does it take to prepare my order?
Because every piece is made by hand in small batches, orders are processed within 3-5 working days (excluding weekends and holidays) before it gets shipped. This does not include the shipping timeline of our partner courier.
Where do you ship your products?
We ship nationwide in the Philippines via LBC, and Grab Express (special request) for orders within Naga City. Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number and courier link.
Luzon: 2-4 business days
VisMin: 3-6 business days
International orders are sent through DHL. Shipping rates and estimated delivery times are calculated at checkout based on your destination and parcel weight.
Note: Shipping delays are imminent during peak season and holidays. We hope you could extend us grace and patience during this time.

Yes! and we are gradually opening more locations to the list. If your country is not yet available at checkout, please email us with your:

Are international taxes and duties included in the shipping cost?
Other fees including import duties, customs fees, and taxes that may apply and are shouldered by the customer. Please note that Papelle will not be held responsible for these duties and fees.
