What's included in the Dashboard and Cover sets?
Our Dashboard and Cover sets are designed to support your creativity in personalizing your journal to fit your mood, allowing you to swap, layer, or remove designs with ease. In each set, you will get:
- 500 microns PP cover in either of the two finishes: translucent matte or clear diagonal
- Exclusive designs on 180 gsm translucent paper for soft layered effect
- Flyleaf and About You page printed on Sugarcane by-product, Eco-friendly Earth Pact for sustainability
- FSC certified high grammage cardstock for better resilience and stiffness
What paper do you use for the inserts?
- 100 gsm Premium Japanese Woodfree Paper for exceptional glide when writing. Durable and has little to no ghosting.
- 5x7 inches (roughly B6) for a compact easy-to-carry design
- Handles fountain pen inks* and enhances ink color with its natural white writing surface
- Dusty blue guide lines and soft colors to lessen eye strain when writing
- Bone white writing surface -- a touch of warmth to lessen the contrast of paper and ink
*Disclaimer: Heavier inks will experience minor feathering. Best to test your inks on a test page before diving in on a new page.
What writing tools can I use on my journals?
Our paper selection offers a premium writing experience whether you are using a rollerball, graphite, fountain pen, or gel pens to write your tasks and sketch your ideas.
It is still advisable to have a dedicated test page so you can experience how your writing tools interact with our smooth paper.
Do you offer pre-made journals?
Since our discbound journals are meant to be curated by you and for you, our current product lineup do not have pre-made sets.
However, if you wish to receive yours already built, just indicate on the "Footnote" or "Special Instructions" that you wish to receive yours assembled. We'd be more than happy to arrange it for you.
How do I take care of my journal?
Each order comes with a protective non-woven bag or canvas bag to keep your journals safe during transit.
We advise you to continue using it when you take your journal anywhere you go.
Here are additional tips to show your journal extra love and care:
- Keep your journal dry and away from direct sunlight.
- When adding or removing pages, gently lift the paper upward from the discs to avoid tearing the tabs.
With proper handling, your Papelle system will last through every idea, plan, and project you have.
